In the context of the exhibition ΙΣΤΟΣ / WEB – Contemporary Artists’ Books, Archivorum is hosting a workshop in Luxembourg as part of its mission as a platform dedicated to the preservation and transmission of artists’ archives through research, teaching, and publishing, with a particular focus on contemporary artist books.
Led by Emilie Lauriola, head of the Archivorum Library in Turin, the workshop will introduce participants to both the theoretical and practical processes behind publishing. From Xerox fanzines to sculptural limited‑edition books, and drawing on numerous examples from the Archivorum collection, the session will explore the many forms an artist’s book can take and invite participants to imagine their own publication.
