Dear Art Lovers,
We’re excited to invite you to the launch of the Archivorum Library in Turin, our largest space yet dedicated entirely to niche contemporary art publishers and artist books.
Archivorum was born in 2019 to change the way we see artist archives.
Not as static collections, but as living spaces—where culture moves, ideas grow, and knowledge is shared.
As a public foundation, Archivorum is dedicated to redefining the role of archives in society.
We view archives as essential tools for cultural enrichment and social progress, with a focus on four core areas: Libraries, Cultural Public Events, Educational and Research Initiatives.
Archivorum operates through two main branches:
Archivorum Ark, which preserves and amplifies artists’ legacies through collaborative archives
Archivorum×M, a publishing initiative connecting artists and publishers worldwide.
Now, a big step forward: we’re opening the Archivorum Library in Turin, joining our spaces in Megève, Geneva, and Milan.
To truly support art publishing, we have, over the years, been acquiring entire collections from some of the most exciting contemporary niche publishers.
Their books deserve to be seen, shared, and preserved!
At the Archivorum Library in Turin you will find available for consultation :
About Books, Dent de Leone, Écart Publications, Edition Patrick Frey, Edition Taube, Fitzcarraldo Editions, Gagarin, Kodoji Press, Kunst Instituut Melly (Witte De With Center For Contemporary Art), Loose Joints, MACULA Editions, Nero Publications, Onestar Press, Onomatopee, Primary Information, Spector Books, Sternberg Press, The Ice Plant, Torpedo Press, Valiz, Veneer Magazine, White Columns, Zavod P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E., and the Archivorum x M book series.
Opening on the April 11th at Franco Noero Gallery in Turin, the library launches alongside Robert Mapplethorpe’s exhibition at the gallery.
Nestled in the downstairs space, it’s open to all—a home for rare and independent art publishers, a space for exchange, a way to keep archives alive.
This is just the beginning. We’ll be hosting lectures, book launches, and workshops with artists and publishers.
We look forward to welcoming you and sharing this next step together!
