Archivorum is back in Basel — and we’re inviting you to float with us once again.
From 16 to 18 June, Floating Pages returns to the Rhine for Archivorum Chapter #6 — A free, hop-on hop-off round trip on the Rhine river to discover four new artists’ books.
And From 14 to 21 June, Archivorum will also be at I Never Read — Basel Art Book Fair to present our ArchivorumxM books and host our artists at the fair radio show .

Conceived in 2021 as a platform for the first Archivorum×M publications, Floating Pages has gradually become Archivorum’s principal public programme: a temporary floating bookstore bringing together new artists’ books alongside an expanding archive of previous titles. Moving through Basel rather than remaining fixed within the fair itself, the project offers an open and freely accessible space where artists, publishers, readers, collectors, families, and passersby come together without hierarchy.
What to expect
– Four new Archivorum×M artists’ books
– A floating bookstore with past Archivorum×M titles available to browse and purchase
– Book launches and artist signings aboard the boat
– Seven stops across Basel
– Open daily from 13:00 to 20:00
– Free entry — no tickets needed, simply come aboard

More than a bookstore, Floating Pages remains a temporary public space where editorial practice, conversation, and community converge — a drifting meeting point where each new chapter of Archivorum’s publishing activity encounters its first readers on the river.

Archivorum at I Never Read — Basel Art Book Fair
Alongside Floating Pages, Archivorum will also take part in the 15th edition of the art publishing fair I Never Read during Art Basel Week. The fair will take place in a new venue right by Basel train station, sharing the space with Basel Social Club.
As part of the fair’s program, Archivorum will present its new ArchivorumxM publications on the book fair’s radio program :
- Jaime Welsh 2020-2025 : Jaime Welsh and Gigiotto Del Vecchio in conversation
Tuesday 16 June at 7:30PM
On the occasion of the release of Jaime Welsh’s new book, the photographer will be in conversation with curator and editor Gigiotto del Vecchio. Co-published by American Art Catalogues and Archivorum, Jaime Welsh 2020–2025 is the artist’s first monograph, bringing together images produced during those five years. The works navigate architectural interiors marked by restricted access, institutional power, and psychological unease.
- GaboritRonaldHamilton : Anthea Hamilton, Delphine Gaborit and Lewis Ronald in conversation
Tuesday 16 June at 5:00PM
Anthea Hamilton, Delphine Gaborit and Lewis Ronald will be in conversation about their new collaborative artist’s book, GaboritRonaldHamilton. Published by American Art Catalogues and Archivorum, this new work includes a cast of artists, photographers, creative directors, dancers and poets who make up the publication. Inside, a suite of twenty-five photographs, made in the span of a few months in early 2026, are organized around a 100-year-old poem by Marianne Moore. The only piece of text in the book, Moore’s To A Snail, speaks to an aesthetic of restraint; a love letter to density, pressure, structure and compactness.
- Museum of Tears : A conversation between Francesco Vezzoli and Stefano Cernuschi (Lenz Press)
Wednesday 17 June at 8:00PM
On the occasion of the new release Museum of Tears by Francesco Vezzoli, the artist will be in conversation about the publication and its thought process with Lenz Press publisher and co-founder Stefano Cernuschi. The publication is part of Archivorum×M, an ongoing publishing programme dedicated to contemporary artistic practices and artists’ publishing.
