We’re delighted to announce the launch of our public program in conjunction with Artissima Art Fair 2025, taking place from October 30th to November 2nd. Archivorum arrived in Torino this April, with the opening of a public library beneath the Franco Noero Gallery. Dedicated to artists’ books and independent publishing, our space is accessible to students, researchers, and the public, reinforcing our mission to support artists and independent publishers and connect with the community through the book as a living medium.
This year’s program will unfold between two key locations: our artist book haven and project space on Via Regaldi, and the Artissima Fair itself, in dialogue with Archivorum’s wider network of spaces across Europe. Visitors will also be able to explore and purchase books from our expanding Archivorum × M publishing catalog, including our most recent titles and collaborations with artists Antony Gormley, Yngve Holen, Peter Liversidge, Giovanni Ozzola and Jac Leirner — essential additions for collectors, bibliophiles, and anyone passionate about contemporary art and publishing.

Highlights of the Program:
October 30th – 6 pm Library Presentation with Archivio Gribaudo
In parallel with the opening of Mario García Torres’s solo exhibition at Galleria Franco Noero, we will host in our library a curated selection of Ezio Gribaudo’s artist books, alongside a rare display of his historical Logogrifi works. Developed in the 1960s, the Logogrifi were created by embossing blotting paper with ready-made or modified zinc or copper plates, producing relief forms revealed by light and shadow. These works—alternating between textual, figurative, and topographic motifs—reflect Gribaudo’s dual role as artist and publisher.

October 31st – 12:30 pm ARKonversations: Belen Uriel and Eléonore Besse – AWARE
Archivorum Ark is a program initiated by Archivorum, in partnership with Fondazione Antonio Ratti and Galleria Continua for the 2023–2025 cycle, and supported by Creative Europe, which grants postgraduate students to be in dialogue with selected artists, Babs Haenen, Belén Uriel, and Nil Yalter. The project treats the archive as a living tool for creativity, research, and intergenerational exchange. Its outcomes are shared through digital platforms and critical publications. At Artissima 2025, Archivorum Ark hosts a live conversation between Belén Uriel and curator Eléonore Besse (AWARE), introduced by Rossana Miele (Archivorum), Lorenzo Benedetti (Fondazione Antonio Ratti), and Davide Colapinto (Galleria Continua. The conversation explores intersections between artistic, archival, and curatorial practices, highlighting empowerment and legacy.

Recently published by ArchivorumxM in collaboration with the publisher Quodlibet, Giovanni Ozzola’s book Atlas gathers a selection of projects by Giovanni Ozzola and presents his practice as a continuous exploration of the concept of the map—not only in a geographic sense, but also as a symbolic, existential, and visual notion.

November 1st – 4 pm Archivorum ARK Lecture
Archivorum Ark is a program initiated by Archivorum, in partnership with Fondazione Antonio Ratti and Galleria Continua for the 2023–2025 cycle, and supported by Creative Europe, which grants postgraduate students to be in dialogue with selected artists, Babs Haenen, Belén Uriel, and Nil Yalter. The project treats the archive as a living tool, fostering intergenerational exchange and sharing results through digital platforms and critical publications. Over the past two years, it has unfolded through talks, collective explorations, and a weekly blog documenting students’ methodologies and archival practices. As the first cycle concludes, three books developed with the artists are in production, expanding on the generated materials. For this conversation, the students Anaïs Auger-Mathurin, Christianna Asprouli, and Stephen Biegel will reflect on their experiences, collaborations, and challenges, revealing archives as dynamic and collaborative practices.
