Archivorum Library was delighted to host A Textbook of Now, a workshop led by publisher and artist Zin Taylor, as part of Una Scuola, a workshop and lecture based program created in collaboration with Castello di Rivoli.
Curated by Lilou Vidal and artist Cally Spooner, with the support of Galleria Franco Noero, the event welcomed twelve post-graduate students in our Turin art library. Under Zin Taylor’s guidance, the library transformed into a place of experimentation and dialogue for the young researchers. The first part of the day unfolded as an exploration of artistic publishing and a brief history of collaborative thinking among artists presented by Taylor. Using the resources offered by our large artists’ book collection and following their own personal vision, the students then collaborated and exchanged to create their own short publication, turning the archive into what it should always be: a living space.
